THE RULES
The following is a set of rules that need to be respected if you wish to stay on those forums.
- Do not spam the forums. If you have a site you want to advertise, do so in the adequate forum and Do not post a handful of threads about it. Disobeying that rule will result in the deletion of your faulty thread/posts and perseverance in such a behavior will result in you being banned.
- Do not insult/flame your fellow members. Doing so will result in the thread being locked. If you have issues with certain members, settle your business with this member privately and not on the forum. If you keep flaming and insulting people for no reason, you shall get banned.
- Stay on topic. Do not drive threads off-topic by posting something that is unrelated to the topic at hand. Start a new thread if you want to post something that isn't related to the subject at hand.
- No warez. Do not talk about illegal material here. Do not ask us where you can download KNP, TGF, CNC, MMF or any other software. This is not a warez forum, it's a forum created for game making. Such threads will be locked, and if you're caught distributing links toward illegal software, you will be banned.
- Use only one account! Do not sign up more than one account for yourself on the same email adress, not even for a joke. We only want valid members here and it makes administration easier to manage. You'll only end up confusing everyone here. Oh, and do not impersonate other people by signing up under their name. Impersonating other members/staff members will get you banned and have your username deleted.
- Do not double post. If you make a mistake or have something else that you wanted to say on a reply, Do not post again! Use the edit button which is located in every post you make and fix your post there. Double post is all okay if it's to bump a thread which is more than 48 hours old by posting worthwhile material that add up to the discussion.
- Use decent English. This is not AOL or the Yahoo forums. We expect being able to read your posts without running it through an idiot-to-english translator firstly.
- Post these images correctly! First of all, non-work safe pictures (porn, people dying and bleeding, hentai, bestiality, etc.) aren't allowed on the forum at all. Posting such pictures is passable of an instant strike, or even ban if the picture really is disgusting. This is not a gross pictures forum, people!
Secondly, don't brake the forum tables. Don't directly post any pictures that go over 800 pixels wide. Just place a link to them if they're too big. Please resize your pictures if they're too big for the forums.
Finally, don't leech images from servers that aren't yours. Not only is stealing bandwidth really disrespectful to the server's owner, but it can sometimes lead to bad surprises! Please host pictures you're posting on your own server. Otherwise, use an image hosting service.

- Know how to use image signatures. Although image signatures are ugly and take up valuable forum space, we do allow them under certain conditions. First of all, your picture shouldn't be more than 510x120 pixels large and shouldn't exceed 75 KBs. Secondly, they shall not be animated. Finally, you should be confortable in seeing them at work/school, so no disgusting imagery on signatures.
Failure to respect any of those steps will result in you having your signature removed, alongside with an explanation telling why it was removed. You are welcome to put another picture afterwards, but if you can't manage to use a decent image signature, you will be banned.
That should be it for the rules. Failure to listen to any of these will get yourself a strike, each of them getting you closer to being permanently banned from the forums. For further explanation about the strike system, read the following text!
THE STRIKE SYSTEM
If someone frequently breaks the rules - they will be striked. A strike will consist of an admin posting a "Strike 1" message to them, and then supplying sufficient proof of where this person broke rules, so the person cannot dispute it or say it's not true. They will also receive a warning using the forum's warn software.
Strike 2 will come if they break yet another rule after the first strike. As before, an admin will post "Strike 2" to them, however - this time as punishment, they will be temporarily banned for a week. Strike 3 comes after breaking another rule, in which case it's a permanent ban.
RULES REGARDING THE STRIKE SYSTEM
1. If you've been here less than 1 week, you won't receive a strike. Unless, of course, you break rules overly frequently (eg. breaking over 5 rules in your first week will result in a strike), or do something exceptionally bad... but see Rule #3 for more information on that.
2. If someone has 1 strike, and manages to behave well for 2 months, their strikes will be removed. If they have 2 strikes and behave well for 2 months, they'll go back to Strike 1 mode. Obviously though, you can't get out of Strike 3 mode!
3. If you do something exceptionally bad with full intentions of breaking all the rules, you will be banned immediately, no questions asked.
That's it! Have fun with the forums!
